An anonymous donor has committed a $350,000 Challenge Grant to help build Phase 1 of the Albuquerque Museum Education Center.

Each year, more than 11,000 students participate in educational programs at Albuquerque Museum, exploring the art, history, and culture that make New Mexico unique.

 

As demand for these programs continues to grow, the Museum has outgrown its original 857 square foot classroom. The completed Education Center will expand access to hands on learning opportunities and allow us to serve 25,000 students annually.

 

The Education Center will feature:

• Dedicated classrooms for expanded programming

• Indoor and outdoor learning spaces

• Volunteer training and community gathering areas

• Accessible amenities designed to welcome learners of all ages
