Lucia von Borosini Batten - The real woman behind Batten Library and the inspiration for a fictional event host.

The host for our dinner mystery will be Ms. Batten, and although she is a fictitious character her name and love for art are inspired by the very-real Mrs. Lucia von Borosini Batten (1911-2005). Mrs. Batten donated Batten House and its library to the Albuquerque Museum Foundation in 2006. The Art Heist will be held in her library, Batten Library, which was completed in 1966. Designed by Art Decker, the library originally featured over 25,000 volumes. Today, the space retains its elegance and mystery, making it the perfect location for an art heist.
