Hit the open road and celebrate in style as we honor the legacy of America’s most iconic highway! This year’s Route 66-themed gala is not only a festive journey through nostalgia but also a meaningful fundraiser supporting the Albuquerque Museum.

As we kick off the centennial of Route 66, your participation helps fuel the Museum’s exhibitions, educational programs, and community initiatives. Funds raised directly support major exhibitions such as The Other Route 66: 100 Years of People, Identity, and Place in Albuquerque, opening June 6, 2026.

The Other Route 66 explores the untold stories of everyday New Mexicans who built, traveled, and lived along the 352‑mile stretch of highway that cuts across our state. Featuring historic objects, photographs, neon signage, ephemera, music, and more, the exhibition highlights Albuquerque’s unique relationship with Route 66, tracing its transformation from a small-town stopover to New Mexico’s largest, most vibrant city.
